Mr. Wolford married the amazingly talented singer and actress Beth McClary and is the proud step-father of Kris, Mary, and Ben Hunsucker. After much thought and careful deliberation, Mr. Wolford went out on his own in FEB 2014, and currently serves as managing partner of Wolford Law Partners. His legal practice concentrates on the development and representation of ethically managed businesses and non-profit organizations; commercial litigation and creditor's rights; debt collection; landlord rights; workplace injuries/on-the-job accidents; personal injuries; nursing home neglect; and Guardsmen/Reservists pre-deployment and redeployment rights.

In addition to his full-time legal practice, Jeff also serves in the Georgia Army National Guard. He most recently deployed to Al Asad Airbase, Iraq in MAY 2019 where he served as the Staff Judge Advocate for the 201st Regional Support Group. During 2009-2010 Jeff deployed with the 135th Expeditionary Sustainment Command. While at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan (KAF), he served as the Chief of Administrative Law; the Chief of Operational Law; and the Military Magistrate for all US Joint Forces, Multi-Nation Military Partners, and Civilians. Jeff first deployed to Germany in 1993 and then onward to the Republic of Macedonia in 1994. The following year, 1995, he deployed to Kuwait.

In addition to his current assignment as Chief of Legal Assistance, OSJA, GA ARNG, Mr. Wolford occasionally instructs on the Rules of Engagement, the Rules for the Use of Force, and Force Escalation deploys in support of domestic authorities during civil disturbances and natural disasters.

Mr. Wolford represents a diverse array of clients from individuals and local businesses to multi-national companies. In addition to litigating cases in the courts of Tennessee and Georgia, Mr. Wolford represents clients in administrative hearings and provides guidance on contract drafting, and general business and risk management issues. He also briefed and argued before the Tennessee Supreme Court for Workers' Compensation.

Before law school, Mr. Wolford served in the U.S. Army from 1992-'96. He graduated as the distinguished honor graduate of Class 93-1, Advanced Infantry Training, and the honor graduate of his Airborne School class. He then served with the 1st BN-507th Parachute Infantry Regiment ("Down to Earth!"). Mr. Wolford then received his assignment with the 2nd BN-15th Infantry Regiment ("Can Do!"), 3rd Infantry Division, in Schweinfurt, Germany. During this time, he learned German, earned the Expert Infantry Badge and the German Schützenschnur Badge for weapons proficiency. From Germany, he deployed to Macedonia and Kosovo, and wrote opinion articles for Stars and Stripes. Mr. Wolford then served with the 1st BN-5th Cavalry Regiment (Black Knights!"), 1st Cavalry Division, at Ft. Hood, Texas, and subsequently deployed to Kuwait in 1995 as part of America's Rapid Response Joint Task Force.

Born in Valdosta, Georgia, Mr. Wolford grew-up in Americus and Columbus, Georgia, where he played football, baseball, golf, and earned Eagle Scout. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a BA in Political Science/concentration in Journalism (Interned with the Honors Program for Georgia Governor Joe Frank Harris). Mr. Wolford later earned a BA in History (Academic Honor Society) from Columbus State University. For his law degree he attended Mercer University and participated in Moot Court. Mr. Wolford's military education includes the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College; the Judge Advocate Officer's Advance Course; the Military Justice Manager's Course; the Special Forces Assessment and Selection Course (while assigned to the 20th SFG (Airborne)); the Basic Officer's Leaders Course; and the Primary Leadership Development Course (Commandant's List).
